Frequently asked questions
Your Hot Tub likely has an airlock (air bubble) in the plumbing that the pump is unable to push out. Some Hot Tubs have a bleeder screw that can assist in removing the air bubble, while others will require the pump unions be loosened to allow the air to escape. To prevent future airlocks, fill your Hot Tub by placing your hose down the filter reservoir.
Most likely the loud noise is coming from your pump. Some pumps can be serviced and repaired, while others need to be replaced. A service call would be required to diagnose.
If your Hot Tub breaker won't reset at all and trips as soon as you flip the switch, then there is likely a short in the heater or another electrical component, and you will need to book a service for your hot tub. If your breaker does reset, but trips after running for an intermittent amount of time, it is more likely that there is an issue with your breaker, and you may need to have it looked at by an electrician.
No. Without proper winterization, your Hot Tub could suffer irreparable damage if left empty over the winter.
Many local Spa & Pool Supply companies offer chemical testing and advice that you will want to take advantage of. Replacing your water every 4-6 months of use is recommended. Remove your filters and spray dirt and residue from in between the pleats every 2-3 weeks as needed. Filters should be replaced every 12-18 months, depending on use.
